Tapfuma was impressed by his showing yesterday.
“I am happy that I managed to pull through playing the guy who reached the finals last week. I am really proud I won. Tomorrow it’s going to be tough.
“I was tired actually. We just had to concentrate. Honestly, we started solidly and I think we lost concentration because we thought the match was over when we were leading 5-2,” said Tapfuma.
Namibia’s Tuki Jacobs dismissed Francois Kellerman in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 while South Africa’s Mathew Rossouw beat William Bushamuka 6-4, 6-2. Jacobs and Rossouw will meet in the other semi-final.
