Taylor says he is back for good

EVEN during his years of isolation from international cricket, Brendan Taylor always kept a Twitter profile picture of himself in his Zimbabwean jersey.

He also described himself on that platform as a ”proud Zimbabwean.”

And now that he is coming home to play for his country again, after a flirtation with English county cricket, the former skipper says he is coming for good. ”Just to clear the air ,I am returning to represent my country again after 3 years and this time I plan to finish my career with @ZimCrickettv,” he said on Twitter.

”It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye to everyone @TrentBridge today. A place I will always keep very close to me! Thank you for having me.”

Former Australian cricket Tom Moody believes Taylor will finish his career in style.

”All the best with your return home, you’re a credit to @TrentBridge & @ZimCrickettv. I’m sure you’ll finish in style.” Indian cricket legend, Mahendra Singh Donhi, said it was good to see Taylor back.
