THE good times continue to roll for Tonderai Ndiraya and his Castle Lager Premier Soccer League new boys.
Yesterday Ngezi Platinum stretched their unbeaten run under Ndiraya to four matches – three wins and a draw – with a clinical dismantling of Triangle at the Baobab.
James Nguluve, who is having a ball, opened the scoring in the first half before Edgar Tapera and Talent Chamboko sealed the points with second half strikes.
Triangle got their goal through Simba Makoni.
Ndiraya, who has brought his workaholic culture to Ngezi, welcomed the win.
“It’s a welcome win at home given that we were coming from a draw away from home,” he said. “The boys fought for it. We really want to enjoy this moment because we know that one day we will be stopped.
“I can see some bit of renewed confidence in the players, they are starting to believe in themselves and it is that belief that is carrying them through.”
Former Dynamos striker Kelvin Bulaji made his Ngezi Platinum debut, coming in as a second half substitute.
However, it was another former DeMbare man Walter Mukanga who received the praises from Ndiraya.
“Walter has brought stability in the midfield, he is a very talented boy and it is his hard work which prompted us to bring him here,” said the Ngezi gaffer.
