Three people died on the spot when a haulage truck they were travelling in side-swiped a Nissan UD near Chaka Business Centre in Midlands province, along the Harare-
Masvingo-Beitbridge highway early this morning.
National deputy police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Blessmore Chishaka said they were still checking on the details of the accident and will issue a detailed statement
later on.
Although the details are still sketchy, reports indicate that the driver of the Nissan UD and two women who were in the haulage truck died during the accident.
Meanwhile, the driver of the haulage truck is reported to have fled from the accident scene.
