AWARD-WINNING gospel musician, Tinashe Magacha, says releasing his debut album remains his biggest achievement.
Tanashe, the younger brother of Sabastian Magacha, debuted the charts with his 2015 album titled ‘‘Mvura Ngainaye’’.
In a statement posted on his social media platforms, he wrote: “Yoo, I remember the excitement was too much, I could not even believe myself as to how I had managed to achieve such a big goal.
“I didn’t even sleep.
“The message on this album still has that impact on me up to now, I am a testimony of this album.
“The most amazing thing is this album topped on a number of gospel charts on local radio and television stations,” he said.
He added: “It got nominated in four categories of the 2016 Permican Awards.
“We won the Best Rising Star Award and the Best Male Award 2016,”added Tinashe.
In an interview with H-Metro, he said he will try his best to remain consistent.
“Consistency is the key to success when you are an artist. All artistes wish to be consistent but, at times, circumstances force artists to be quiet.
“Personally, I will try my level best to be consistent in my career,”he said.
Tinashe assured fans more hit albums were on the way.
“I know Mvura Ngainaye was a hit album but I promise my fans and everyone that I am not going to stop on that album.
“I have faith and hope that my music will appeal to people and also change the lives of those who are stressed.
“It was God who did everything for me and it will always be Him in each and every plan that I make,” said Tinashe.
He added:
“Challenges and difficulties are inevitable in life but what I know is that those who believe will always conquer.
“I was born an artist and, no matter the difficulties and challenges, I will not give up.
“God will always make a way for everyone.”
Tinashe said he was inspired by his elder brother, Sabastian. “My elder brother inspires me a lot, he is so passionate about his career and he is one of those artists that are strong,” he said.
