Tour de Bulawayo registration opens

THE Bulawayo Flying Eagles Cycling Club officially opened registration to all city cyclists for the Tour de Bulawayo series sponsored by Ekhaya Cycles and set for October 25. Chrispen Kazingizi, the Bulawayo Flying Eagles Cycling Club spokesperson said that participants should come forward and register for the event that would have safety as a priority. Kazingizi said that the registration fees would be $20 for cyclists who want to participate in the two events and $10 for those who intend cycling in one.
The two-day event will feature eight different rides with 70km for the elite.

Races will be in categories Under-17, Under-19 and Under-23.
Kazingizi advised all cyclists that will be registering for the tour to get properly licensed.

“All riders that are chasing to improve their times during the event should make sure that they are properly licensed and should verify with the club before the tour to avoid problems,” he said.
