ZAOGA Forward in Faith Ministries (FIF) has spread its wings to every corner of the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Locally, the church has assemblies dotted everywhere, in cities, towns, villages, mines and on farms, as well as other places where no one ever thought the gospel would reach.
The church has its membership virtually everywhere in Zimbabwe.
Apostle Professor Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti’s legacy lives on as evidenced by the work that he left across the world.
He was transferred from earth on July 5, 2023 but he left an indelible mark on the face of the globe.
His outstanding anointing and ability to train great leaders ensured that the church is left in the safest of hands.
The seed of ZAOGA FIF produces after its own kind and that has been its strength over the years.
This substantiates the word of prophecy that was spoken by Apostle Guti and is found in the book “History of ZAOGA Forward in Faith”.
Apostle Guti says that there is one Ezekiel, but God will raise many Ezekiels.
Today, we have many young Ezekiels who are sent all over the world to make disciples of all nations.
It is indeed an irresistible and tenacious seed that can penetrate any type of ground and grow to become a huge tree that provides shelter to many people who need salvation and a sound lifestyle.
Reading the book that chronicles the history of ZAOGA FIF, one can understand better how Apostle Guti suffered in his quest to have many people come to Christ and open centres of worship across the world.
The journey was not characterised by pomp and funfair, but it was an immense spiritual warfare against the devil since he was holding the torch that would shine and expose the deeds of darkness and bring many people to the marvellous light of Jesus Christ.
The trials and temptations that he overcame were contributory to the strong foundation which the ministry stands on.
He was a tried and tested leader who did not compromise on the principles of God, thereby leading one of the greatest ministries in the world, which considers soul-winning and shunning sin as its principal objectives just as Christ Jesus commanded.
Apostle Guti had no intention to start a church and it never was his aim, but God had a way to use him as a vessel for his people to be saved and go to Heaven.
Whatever God initiates He sustains. This has been the case with ZAOGA FIF.
The will of God prevailed from the inception of the ministry and that has made it possible for God to continue directing and sustaining what He started.
Apostle Guti was resolute to continue preaching God’s word and seeing many people coming to Christ and receiving physical and emotional healing.
He narrates his story in the book of history:
“In 1960, God said, ‘Rise from Highfield; quickly go away.’ I wept not knowing where to go, but he said, ‘Rise, go to Bindura, a very primitive area, no one will trouble you. I will make my work grow through you!’
“I was shown in the spirit and I arose and went to Bindura.
“I began preaching on May 12, 1960, which is the day this ministry was born, under a gumtree in Bindura.”
At 100 years, the time of his passing on, Apostle Guti, together with his wife Apostle Eunor Guti, were still preaching and had the same aspiration they had during the inception of the ministry.
ZAOGA FIF celebrates 64 years of God’s grace as a movement that has witnessed the faithfulness of God to those who trust in Him.
