Charges against Ranjisi arose on January 25 this year when he went to Grand Parade in Hurungwe North driving a tractor.
He intended to collect a boom-spray.
Ranjisi who was wearing a denim trousers similar to the uniform worn by the army was approached by an informant, Norman Mumani to explain why he was wearing the army trousers.
Ranjisi told him that it was part of his work suit that he had been given by his employer .
He said that he even owned an army shirt which was at his home.
Due to the use of the ZNA uniform, Ranjisi who told the court that he earns US$55 as the head driver at Ngwarati Farm.
He had reportedly earned himself immense respect from the other farm workers through the use of the uniform.
Although Ranjisi implicated his employer as the supplier of the uniform, the employer denied ever giving him the clothes.
Police at Magunje arrested Ranjisi resulting in the recovery of the shirt.
Mr Benjamin Negato prosecuted.
