Police are investigating a case in which three people, an elderly woman and her two grandchildren, were found dead this week in a hut they were sleeping in, in Guruve.

The details of the case are still not clear although unconfirmed reports say unknown assailants could have murdered the three.

Fellow villagers identified the three as Megina Chizema Machivenyika (60), Stacy Muplango (11) and Alliet Muplango (eight).

They are expected to be buried on Tuesday at Nyakapupu Settlements, Farm 31 in Guruve.
