MUFAKOSE High School in Triangle, Chiredzi rural district, has steadily maintained its traditional academic mastery.
This time, the school achieved a 99,1 percent pass rate in the 2025 Zimsec A-Level examination results.
A total of 114 learners sat for the examinations and 113 of them passed.
Tabulated examination results from the school show that 11 students got 15 points or more, while 87 learners achieved 10 points or more.
The school, which is a company-run institution established by Tongaat Hulett Zimbabwe (THZ) in 1989, continues to demonstrate outstanding academic prowess, with 126 students having passed five or more subjects at O-Level in 2025.
The core values of Mufakose High School include integrity, self-discipline, diligence, commitment, transparency and empathy.
Over the years, the school has embarked on a range of projects, procured a school bus, secured a 1,4-hectare cane plot apportioned to it by THZ, while it worked closely with communities.
Mufakose High School head, Bvunyenge Severino, applauded the responsible authority, THZ, the School Development Committee ( SDC) and staff for nurturing exceptional academic talents.
He said the school’s continued success is attributed to strong coordinated efforts by stakeholders as well as the hard work discipline and dedication of the learners.
“I am immensely proud of the outstanding results achieved by our students.
“These results reflect the hard work, discipline and dedication of learners and teachers and the unwavering support of parents, guardians and our responsible authority, Tongaat Hulett Zimbabwe.
“Together, we have upheld our school’s tradition of academic excellence, hence I congratulate everyone involved and encourage students to aim higher in the years to come.”
Mufakose High School offers a wide range of disciplines, including extra-curricular activities, which culminated in a fully-fledged partnership in which Triangle United Football Club signed goalkeeper David Makuze.
He also demonstrated brilliant academic performance and got 14 points at A-Level in 2025.
