Trump fires diplomat Rex Tillerson

US President Donald Trump has asked top diplomat Rex Tillerson to step down.
CNN’s Boris Sanchez reports that a senior administration official confirmed that President Trump asked Tillerson to step aside on Friday.

“POTUS thought it was the right time for the transition with the upcoming North Korea talks and various trade negotiations.  POTUS asked Tillerson to step aside on Friday,” the source said.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo is tipped to take over from Tillerson.
