Two Killed In Mwenezi three-bus Pileup: Police

Two people were killed early Sunday after a bus rammed into two other buses parked roadside in Mwenezi district along the Masvingo-Beitbridge highway, police said.

A Tombs Motorways bus hit a donkey and a Mbokodo Transport bus had stopped to offer assistance by uplifting the stranded passengers.

“A Rimbi Tours bus rammed into the trailer of Tombs Motorways bus before ramming into Mbolodo bus. Two people died and two others were injured,” national police spokesman Commissioner Paul Nyathi said.

The injured are being treated at Beitbridge District Hospital. -ZimLive
