Vendor smashes rival’s head in brawl over customer

A BULAWAYO street vendor turned a simple business rivalry into a bloody rock fight — all because of one customer’s cash.

Thabo Receive Dumani (32) went full caveman mode at Bradfield Shopping Centre on 2 February 2025, hurling stones at fellow vendor Killan Nyasha in a savage midday assault that left his competitor nursing head wounds.

The two traders were peacefully hustling until — boom!—a dispute over a customer erupted into screaming, then Dumani grabbed a STONE and smashed Nyasha’s head TWICE!

Dumani pleaded guilty and got off with a US$100 fine — or one month in jail if he’s broke.
