Volleyball league action resumes

THE Bulawayo Volleyball Association (BVA) will resume its league action today at Raylton Sports Club. BVA took a break to pave way for the Zimbabwe National Youth Games that were held in the city two weeks ago. In an interview yesterday, BVA secretary-general Brian Manuel confirmed that games would resume this morning after a long break.

“All teams will resume their matches this weekend,” said Manuel.
He said teams would clear the backlog fixtures before they resume the second half of the season which promises to be a thriller.

“The teams without outstanding fixtures will continue with their fixtures of the second half of the season,” he said.
Manuel said they were yet to confirm dates of the mid season tournament which is usually played before the teams resume the second half campaign.

“We are waiting for confirmation from our sponsors who usually sponsor the mid-season tournament,” he said.
Railstars will fight to maintain their pole position.
