VP Chiwenga arrives at ZITF grounds ahead of the International Business Conference

VICE PRESIDENT Dr Constantino Chiwenga has arrived at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) grounds in Bulawayo, where he is scheduled to headline two major events on the fair’s calendar.

This morning, Vice President Chiwenga is set to officially open the ZITF International Business Conference (IBC).

The high-level forum brings together industry leaders, international investors and Government officials to explore investment prospects and establish strategic partnerships that can fuel Zimbabwe’s economic progress.

Later in the afternoon, he will deliver a keynote address at the inaugural Research for Sustainable Industrialisation and Economic Development Indaba.

The event seeks to harness innovative research to shape policies and practices that support the country’s drive toward sustainable industrialisation.

Upon arrival, VP Chiwenga was welcomed by Minister of State for Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, Cde Judith Ncube, Speaker of Parliament Cde Jacob Mudenda, several cabinet ministers and other senior Government officials.
