Warriors coach quits

Sports Reporter

ZIMBABWE senior men’s football team coach Marian Mario Marinica has stepped down as Warriors coach just five months into his tenure.
Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) announced the Romanian coach’s resignation in a statement this afternoon citing “personal reasons”.
Marinica left his role after taking charge of the Warriors for about seven games.
He kicked off his reign with international friendlies against Algeria and Qatar in preparation for the 2025 AFCON finals held in Morocco.
Marinica departure comes in the wake of Zimbabwe’s preparations for the four-nation Unity Cup in the United Kingdom during the next FIFA international window.
