Warriors gain 15 places on Fifa rankings

IAN GOROWA’S Warriors are not only doing better on the field but also on the Fifa/Coca Cola World Rankings.
Zimbabwe gained 15 places up the table and moved from 116th to 101st in the world.
The Warriors also moved into the top 30 on the continent and are now pegged at number 27.
Zimbabwe drew 0-0 at home with Zambia in an African Nations Championship qualifier at Rufaro on August 24 and then beat the Zambians 1-0 in Ndola.

The Warriors then drew 1-1 in a World Cup qualifier against Mozambique at Rufaro.
On Tuesday, Zimbabwe beat South Africa 2-1 at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg with Knowledge Musona and Cuthbert Malajila scoring in an international friendly.
