WATCH: Altcom, Highlanders Donate Bins to BCC at City Hall Car Park

Altcom, a local roofing and fencing company, in partnership with Highlanders Football Club, on Friday officially donated refuse bins to the City of Bulawayo in a community initiative aimed at promoting a cleaner and more sustainable urban environment.

The handover ceremony took place at the City Hall car park, where the donation was received by Bulawayo Mayor David Coltart on behalf of the local authority.

The initiative formed part of the ongoing Bulawayo Arts Festival celebrations as well as Highlanders FC’s centenary commemorations, adding a strong community and civic dimension to the club’s milestone year.

Altcom and Highlanders said the donation reflects their continued commitment to supporting community development and improving waste management systems within the city.

Altcom, a roofing and fencing company, has previously supported similar cleanliness campaigns in Bulawayo through donations of refuse bins and cleaning equipment, including brooms, as part of its corporate social responsibility programmes
