LEADING telecommunications service provider NetOne has partnered Kidzcan in a charity golf tournament in Bulawayo on Friday.
Thirty two teams are expected to take part in an event whose first tee off was at 0730 Hours.
Kidzcan is a voluntary organisation registered as a humanitarian organisation in 2009 and supports the increased survival rate of children suffering from cancer and blood related disorders.
Popular radio personality Daniel Mackenzie said his organisation was happy to partner NetOne in the campaign.
Kidzcan Zimbabwe runs programmes in four hospitals in Zimbabwe including Mpilo in Bulawayo.
Ebson ‘Sugar’ Muguyo, Martin Mabvira, Oswald Nyakunika, Tony Nembaware, Mqa Dube and Jonathan Moyo are among some of the prominent amateur golfers who braved the morning cold to tee off for charity.
The tournament format is an alliance in which Three scores will count at each hole.
