online writer
IN a dramatic scene this morning, Constable Muradzikwa, the police officer was escorted to the holding cells at the Bulawayo Magistrates Court, housed in the Tredgold Building.

Muradzikwa, stationed at Hillside Police Station, shocked investigators when he allegedly admitted to killing Hove during a police operation on March 6, 2025. The 37-year-old detective, a member of Bulawayo’s elite all-female CID unit, Team Lozikeyi, was initially believed to have been shot by armed robbers during a pursuit in the Habek area of Pumula South suburb.

However, in a startling twist, when Muradzikwa reportedly confessed to the crime, he stated he did not require legal representation. However, on Tuesday when he attended court, Muradzikwa came with a lawyer, Mr Tinashe Tashaya of Sengweni Legal Service.
