A MARRIED woman claims that her husband has been taking care of another woman for four years in South Africa despite their marriage subsisting.
Their dispute has spilled at the Harare Civil Court.
Rumbidzai Chirwa told the magistrate that her husband has been taking care of a Zulu woman for over four years in Johannesburg.
“My husband has been in Johannesburg for over four years taking care of another woman while still married to me.
“He came back two weeks ago and stole my sandals.
“I am a vendor, I sell those sandals for a living.”
She said this has led her to seek for a protection order.
“He wants me to move out of my house that I won when he was in Johannesburg so that his Zulu wife will come.”
The husband argued that his wife was having adulterous relationships with other men.
“She has a boyfriend who took care of her while I was not around.
“She said kune varume chaivo vanoziva zvavanoita pabonde kwete ini. She does not work so how did she buy a house.”
Presiding magistrate, Meenal Narotam, ordered them to live in peace.
She also ordered that if Samson continues harassing, beating or insulting Rumbidzai, he will be evicted from the house by the police.
