This was after she inserted an advert in the newspaper that she was selling her house at number 3825 in Unit D.

The two parties entered into an agreement of sale and Makwarimba was handed Z$60 000 of the stipulated amount of Z$130 000. They later went to the town’s municipality offices to change ownership of the house to Chakingesu’s title.

Officials at the offices informed the two parties that the house was not owned by Makwarimba and she had no title over the house. It was discovered that it belonged to her father Simon Makwarimba.
