Women golfers leave for Kenya

The team, made up mostly of seasoned campaigners, will play the host country and Zambia in the bi-annual event.

The Gilbertson and Page tournament will be held in Nairobi from tomorrow until Sunday.
The players are seasoned with four of them having represented the country at last month’s All-Africa Challenge Trophy in South Africa.

The tournament will be Matchplay in the singles and foursomes matchplay format.
Zimbabwe came second, behind Kenya, in the last event in Zambia.

The team has the best golfers in the championship division.
The inclusion of Loice Chingono has brought quality to a team that has Arcy Zerf, Aulia Alfazema, Polly

Crew and Brenda Leipe who have played in international tournaments before.
The team last played in an international tournament in May when they took part in the All-Africa C
