Women hold demo against hubby snatcher

A fuming group of women from Bulawayoas Old Lobengula suburb took to the streets protesting against another resident they accused of being a husband snatcher.

The group of women embarrassed Visitor Ndebele as they sang and danced at her gate calling for her change of behaviour.

In a bid to stop her snatching tendencies, the women carrying placards which read, a?Stop it. We are fed up with your tendenciesa and a?Intoayenzayo siyayizondaa camped at her gate for hours.

Ndebele, fearing for her life, locked herself in the house the whole day.

In separate interviews women expressed their displeasure at the woman.

a?At times she invites men to fix electrical faults in her house while scantily dressed. My husband almost fell for her trap.

a?We are fed up with her. She must bath with cold water if she fails to restrain herself from sleeping with married men and that will lessen her sexual zest,a? she said.

Ndebeleas former tenant Patson Dube said the woman once called him into her bedroom and to his surprise he found her naked.

a?She invited me to her bedroom and to my shock I found her naked. She asked me to have sex with her and promised to give me $50 as a token of appreciation. But I refused as I respected her,a? he said.

Dube went on and said after turning down the womanas sexual advances Ndebele started influencing his wife to desert him, but all was in vain.

In a bid to solve the problem he sought help from the residents chairman who then resolved the matter by ordering her to vacate the house.

One of the women who only identified herself as MaMoyo said Ndebele was a bonafide home wrecker.

a?Itas shocking that a granny wants to wreck our marriages. She has to respect our marriages,a? she said.

One of the women who were part of the demonstrations claimed that she caught her husband and Ndebele sleeping together.

a?This woman is a shame. I caught her naked with my husband. When I asked my husband what was happening, he lied claiming to be borrowing money from Ndebele,a? she said.

When Ndebele was contacted for comment, she immediately hung up after hearing it was a call from B-Metro.

After ignoring a number of calls, she finally answered.

a?What do you want? I do not know what you are talking about.a? .
