Running under the theme: “Play: The beginning of Knowledge”, the event saw both parents and children playing traditional games such as nhodo, raka raka, sarura wako, soccer and dumbbells.
Terre des hommes Country Coordinator for Zimbabwe and Zambia, Mr Fungai Dewere, said he was humbled by the response from parents who led the children in traditional games.
“Technology has stopped children from playing as play stations, videogames and television are not inclusive games,” he said.
