ZACC pounces on Magaya over fake diploma

Sikhumbuzo Moyo

THE Zimbabwe Anti Corruption Commission (ZACC) has confirmed reports doing rounds that renowned prophet, Walter Magaya was under investigation for producing a fake Unisa marketing diploma certificate.

Magaya produced the document to the Zifa Normalisation Committee who were acting as the electoral committee when he wanted to run for the Zifa presidency, whose elections were held last month.

When his candidature was not successful, the clergyman then approached the High Court for redress where he again produced the same fraudulent document.

“ZACC is investigating the allegations that Magaya submitted fraudulent certificates to Zifa and the court when he was pursuing his interest to compete for the Zifa presidency,” said ZACC spokesperson Simiso Mlevu on Monday evening.
