ZEC holds post-election review conference

Stakeholders have gathered at Troutbeck Resort in Nyanga for a two-day multi-stakeholder post election review conference for the 2023 harmonised elections.


The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission has organised the conference with the objective of “identifying what worked and what didn’t work well in order for the electoral management body to improve on the conduct of future elections”.

Participants at the conference include political parties that took part in the 2023 general elections, Government officials, the United Nations Development Programme, diplomats, faith-based organisations, law enforcement agencies, the Deaf Zimbabwe Trust, African Christian Council International, Zimbabwe Youth Council, Zimbabwe Gender Commission, Zimbabwe Media Commission, Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission, Women in Politics Support Unit, civil society organisations, legal experts and the media.
