FORTY former referees went into class on Friday afternoon to commence training as Zifa match commisioners.

Those who will make the grade will take charge of Division One and Premier Soccer League matches in the future.

Facilitating the course are two former FIFA panel referees Kenias Marange and Sabelo Maphosa-Sibindi.

The referees’ national chairperson Faith Mloyi, said the two days commissioners workshop was an opportunity for the former referees to collaborate and share experiences as they enter the next stage of their football careers.

They have been drawn from all over the country.
