ZIMBABWE bowls national team members are today expected to hold their final practice ahead of the Quadrangular Series in Namibia this weekend.
The bowlers have been conducting their preparations separately at their Sports Clubs and today they are expected to converge at Alexandra Sports Club.
Zimbabwe women’s skip Kerry Craven feels they are ready for the tourney.
“Most of the players in the team have played on Namibian greens before. Although it will be very hot, at this time of the season, we still expect some good bowls.
“We are well prepared and we are going to play to the best of our ability to make our nation proud,” said Craven.
The series has been set from October 31 to November 2 in Windhoek.
In the men’s section, Zimbabwe will be represented by the country’s top bowlers — Denis Streak, Tom Craven and Masters Champion Jono Evans.
Streak is the skip for the men’s side.
