Action in the newly established Zimbabwe Futsal Premier League enters round eight today, with four games set to be played at Bulawayo’s FIFA Football for Hope Centre in the Gwabalanda suburb.

Log leaders Go Boyz, on 15 points and two ahead of second-placed TNS Rovers, will face Fox FC, who sit in fourth with 10 points. TNS Rovers will lock horns with Southwonder, while Cowdray Park FC meet Mictech. Amabhubesi will take on Sobusa FC.

National Premier Futsal League chairman Philani Banda said the league, which comprises 11 teams, has completed seven match days so far.

“We are very glad that all teams are gathered here in Gwabalanda for our Week Eight action. The games will be played throughout the day and we are looking forward to seeing the teams compete in good spirit,” said Banda.

The league has already successfully hosted two tournaments, the Independence Cup and the Defence Forces Cup, both of which were won by Go Boyz FC.
