The age group coaches will from next month start their scouting programme across the country where they will be selecting the hidden talented players who will represent Zimbabwe in two years times. ZC national development manager Nick Singo said they are going to select the provisional squad of 50 players before trimming the side.
“We are going to have a busy schedule as we will be going even to the Rural areas to scout for some talented players especially the fast bowlers.
“We want to select a squad of 50 players and then trim it to the provisional team of 30 players whom we want to start training with. We are also intending to organise internal and external tours for provisional squad so that they are well prepared for the World Cup.
