Team manager, Patrick Mutesva, last night confirmed the changes in the travel itinerary.
The delegation was initially scheduled to fly out this morning en-route to Johannesburg.
The Zimbabwe Under-20 team is now set to fly out tomorrow arriving in Luanda in the afternoon.
In coming up with the travelling crew, head coach Jairos Tapera believes they picked the best team that can produce a positive result in Luanda.
“In the past matches we have played in these qualifiers, we have been using a lone striker in form of Knox Mutizwa.
“In the second leg on Sunday, we shall employ a two-man attack, as we are looking for goals that would enable us to progress to the next stage,” Tapera said.
The Young Warriors technical team included two more strikers — Kelvin Bulaji and Paul Nyikadzino.
“Both Nyikadzino and Bulaji who joined camp on Monday, have good scoring capabilities and are strong in the air.
“They are getting into scoring positions at the right time,” noted Tapera.
Tapera said it was important to maintain the same defenders who did duty against Botswana in the past round and in the first leg against Angola.
Inspirational centreback Vincent Mbira, the Moyo twins – Kelvin and Elvis — captain and rightback Willard Kalongonda and Lawrence Mhlanga are the defenders in the travelling party.
The Young Warriors technical team included Chemhanza High School first-choice goalkeeper Kudakwashe Magama, as cover for Mateyaunga.
Other options in the middle of the park include Raphael Muduviwa, Tatenda Dzumbunu and Munyaradzi Chiwara.
