Zimbabwe takes sports tourism to Nottingham, UK

“The partnership between Zimbabwe Cricket and our ministry is a strategic move to boost our sports tourism sector,” said Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Tongai Mnangagwa from the United Kingdom after touring the match venue and meeting the Zimbabwe Test team.

“We are thrilled to see our cricket team representing Zimbabwe on the global stage while showcasing our country’s beauty and charm to the world. This collaboration will undoubtedly yield long-term benefits for our tourism industry and inspire a new generation of tourists to explore the wonders of Zimbabwe,” said Hon Mnangagwa who was accompanied by the Zimbabwean Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Colonel Christian Katsande.
