Zimbabwean sprinter Makanakaishe Charamba graduates with accounting degree at US university

Zimbabwean sprint sensation Makanakaishe Charamba has graduated from Auburn University in the United States as a proud student-athlete, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Congratulating Charamba in a statement on its official Facebook Page on Monday, the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee (ZOC) commended the athlete for successfully balancing his studies and athletics career.

“Balancing elite academics with world-class performance, he has not only been a standout sprinter for Auburn but a history-making athlete for Zimbabwe. From reaching the 200m final at the 2024 Paris Olympics to securing multiple NCAA national titles — this is what dedication looks like.

“The future is bright. Congratulations, Maka — you’ve made the nation proud!” ZOC said.
