THE Zimbabwe National Organisation of Associations and Residents Trust (ZNOART) has called on residents, community associations, youth groups, churches, schools, businesses and other stakeholders to actively participate in National Clean-Up Day tomorrow.

The National clean-up campaign, held on the first Friday of every month, was launched by President Mnangagwa in December 2018 to promote a clean, healthy and sustainable environment through collective action involving Government, local authorities, the private sector, civil society organisations and residents.

In a statement, ZNOART urged every citizen to dedicate time to cleaning homes, streets, neighbourhoods, business premises, schools and other public spaces.

“A clean environment promotes better health, community pride and sustainable development,” the organisation said.

“Together, let us build cleaner, safer and healthier communities. Every resident has a role to play. Citizen-Centric Service Delivery: Our Environment, Our Concern.”
