ZPA offers free treatment

Herald Reporter
The Zimbabwe Physiotherapy Association will tomorrow offer free treatment to the public at Parirenyatwa Hospital in Harare as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.
A representative of the ZPA yesterday said they would treat at least 30 arthritis, back pain, neck pain and sports injuries patients in addition to people with other ailments.
“We are going to be offering free services and we are ready to cater for at least 30 patients on Friday at Parirenyatwa starting from 8am up to midday,” Mr Gilson Timire said.
“There is also going to be distribution of physiotherapy awareness leaflets to make people more aware of conditions that require physiotherapy.
“Many people are not alert to such conditions and yet such knowledge is critical,” he added. The ZPA is a member of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy.
