CZI draws up proposals for Dimaf distribution

THE Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries has drawn up comprehensive proposals on the criteria for selecting beneficiaries under the Distressed Industries and Marginalised Areas Fund (Dimaf) and called for immediate action on the facility. It has made suggestions on the disbursement modalities of the facility whose distribution is being delayed by disagreements among stakeholders.
Certain quarters of the Bulawayo constituency had reportedly demanded that only firms headquartered in that city should access the facility. And CZI has lamented the fact that the funding made available in the Mid-Term Fiscal Policy review remains unused, despite the financial haemorrhage in firms.

US forces quit Iraq nine years on

The last US forces left Iraq and entered  Kuwait yesterday, nearly nine years after launching a divisive war to oust Saddam Hussein, and just as the oil-rich country grapples with renewed political deadlock.

Iran broke into CIA drone command

A report says that Iran not only cracked communications system of the RQ-170 stealth drone and forced it to land inside the country, but also broke into CIA’s secret drone command centre.
