Self-styled prophet jailed 17 years for rape

THE self-styled prophet from an Apostolic Sect in Bulawayo who recently raped a 16-year-old girl for the whole night claiming he was praying for her has been sentenced to 17 years in prison.
Godfrey Mabhena (40), of 56841/2 Old Lobengula, a pastor and prophet at the Johanne Masowe WeChishanu Apostolic Church initially told the court he wanted the B-Metro editor, whom he called Trevor Nyikadzaramba, to testify in court as his key witness.

Division of Mass Comm gets ITC equipment

HARARE Polytechnic’s Division of Mass Communication has received information communication technology equipment from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco).
It is expected that the equipment will assist the institution in its plans to introduce an internal full-time Bachelor of Technology degree in mass communication.
