THE fifth edition of the Zimbabwe National Paralympic Games, scheduled for the coal-mining town of Hwange in April next year, is likely to be postponed to pave way for the general elections.

UNITED States-based Zimbabwean professional golfer, Bruce McDonald is among more than 300 hopefuls trying to earn the right to play on the European Tour next year.
McDonald cleared the first hurdle in October after finishing in a three-way tie for second place at the Qualifying School First Stage Section D at Ribagolfe.
Fresh from helping Zimbabwe finish 11th at the 28-team Omega Mission Hills Golf World Cup in Hainan Island, China, last week, McDonald will be hoping to progress to the final stage at the PGA Catalunya Resort in Girona, Spain, on 15 December.

In an interview, ZKF president Tarirai Chadebha said the federation  would establish academies throughout the country in order to introduce  the sport to youngsters and make the sport popular in all corners of the country.
