Police bust stocktheft ring

POLICE in Beitbridge at the weekend smashed a well-orchestrated stocktheft syndicate arresting four notorious suspects and recovering 19 stolen cattle worth more than $10 000.

THE sleepy town of Chipinge was on Saturday brought to life when more than 60 musical groups performed at the 21st February Movement musical gala.
The gala was held as part of celebrations to mark President Mugabe’s 88th birthday that fell on 21 February.  The event saw award-winning                     Blessing Shumba and “Young Igwe”, Peter Moyo, stealing the show. The two were arguably                             the best performers out of many artistes that performed at the packed Chipinge Government School grounds.
