The man originally from Mbondweni Village in Filabusi,  who is now facing the hangman’s noose, had failed to pay for a 12-volt battery he had bought from his victim.
On 27 July last year, Zibusiso Ndlovu invited Catherine Mpala (31), to his homestead in Mathole Village, Siganda, so that she could collect 60kg of maize as payment for the battery.
