Sipho Makhabane to grace Peace Prayer show

SOUTH African gospel artistes, Sipho Makhabane and Mkhululi Bhebhe from Joyous Celebration will tomorrow join their Zimbabwean counterparts, Baba naAmai Charamba and Blessing Shumba at the Bulawayo Peace Prayers to be held at Barbourfields Stadium.
The peace prayers are premised on Jeremiah 14 verse 13, which reads according to the King James Version, “Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold the prophets say unto them, You shall not see the sword, neither shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place”.

VP Mujuru dances at World Telecoms Day

VICE-PRESIDENT Joice Mujuru yesterday took to the stage alongside popular dance group Iyasa and showed her dance moves at a World Telecommunication and Information Society Day ceremony held at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair.
This year’s theme is “Women and Girls in ICT”.
Iyasa went on stage and did a rendition of the song There is an answer by South African musician PJ Powers.
As they went through their routine Vice-President Mujuru stood and joined the group drawing cheers from the crowd gathered at the event.
