Putin in Beijing for state visit

BEIJING — Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Beijing yesterday morning, kicking off a state visit to China.
Invited by his counterpart Chinese President Hu Jintao, Putin is paying a state visit to China from June 5-7. He will also attend the 12th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation, to be held in Beijing
