Woman murdered in Masvingo to be buried in Bulawayo

THE woman who was allegedly killed by her husband in Masvingo, who then hid the body in a freezer for six days, is originally from Bulawayo and will be buried at West Park Cemetery in the city today.
Charter Parikumuja (34), allegedly used a hammer and an iron bar to kill his customary law wife, Precious Mudhari (30), at their home in Masvingo.
The killing occurred at Nyikavanhu under Chief Nyajena.
The motive for the killing has not been established.
Departing from the acrimonious in-laws’ disputes that usually follow such killings, the Parikumuja and Mudhari families yesterday worked together harmoniously to prepare for the burial during a funeral wake at the deceased’s parents’ home in New Lobengula suburb.
In an interview, Mudhari’s brother, Mr Constantine Mudhari (59) said the family was deeply hurt.
