MUSICIAN and actor Ashwin Quintan Africa Chiradza popularly known as Handsome Gudo has become a hit with many celebrities and followers after launching the Celebrity Box Game on TikTok.
He has hit 25 000 live viewers and is cashing out in a big way.
Handsome Gudo has hosted Jah Master, Freeman, Saintfloew, Poptain, Mambo Dhurere, Kinna, Silent Killer, Andy Muridzo, Kae Chaps, Madam Boss, Trevor Dongo and Cindy Munyavi.
He also said Beenie Man, Vybz Kartel, DJ Khaled and Migos also accepted the invites.
He has also worked with Alfred Ntombela from Mr Bones Movie.
“It all begins with thinking outside the box, if you want to be unique, don’t look at what the majority is doing, look at what they are not doing.
“So, I would say it was inspired by the thought of being unique and getting money.
“It has changed people’s lives, including mine, social media had become a toxic area and people were forced to join the useless trends but now slowly, but surely, I am showing people that in life you can actually make it without destroying anyone.
“Zimbabwe has a lot of toxic people, munhu wese anoda kuti ubudirire but hapana anoda kuti ubudirire kumukunda.”
He added:
“We have socialites like that and due to these small achievements that I have made I am already having people sending people to get my accounts blocked, publishing fake stories about me.
“Not so long ago I was pronounced dead nema haters.”He intends to invite superstar Jah Prayzah to the game.
“The sky’s the limit and I need to get Jah Prayzah and Winky D in a Celebrity Box Game. I also want to bring Sir Wicknell and Passion Java, that’s how big my dream is.
“I am speaking to Beenie Man, Vybes Kartel, DJ Khaled and Migos to feature on this year’s Celebrity Box Games.
“This 2025 is a year of completion and I am going to raise the bar even higher.
“I will break more records going forward, maybe, I will have to revisit the decision of not releasing my music.”
He started his entertainment journey as a musician.
“I became a dancehall MC, then Classic 263 radio after ZBC took me and my DJ. Handsome Gudo came about when I was still in a group with Scarfizzo Tsotsi back in the day.
“He came up with the name Makudo Ari handsome ndobva zvangonangawo nemutupo wangu and started calling myself Handsome Gudo since I am of the Mukanya totem.
“I love all my projects because I put the same effort into all of them.”
He added:
“I have been working with Andy Muridzo, I just called him ndikanzi mukoma ndirikuda kuimbirwawo chorus zvikanzi hande kustudio.
“He is a very good friend of mine and I learn a lot from him every time we link up.
“I have a lot of big collaborations musicwise but I am no longer interested in releasing any of them.
“I have a song with Baba Harare, Enzo, Jah Master, the late Garry Mapanzure, Nicky Genius, Fantan, Blaq Diamond, Mai TT and the one last released with Mama Vee.”
