And the captain speaks . . .

YOUNG WARRIORS skipper Wisdom Mutasa has urged his lieutenants to show character at Rufaro today.

The 20-year-old FC Platinum man was bubbling with confidence as he spoke ahead of the clash against an equally buoyant Swaziland.

“Morale in camp is high and everyone is looking forward to the match. A number of players failed to report for duty, but our coach can see us through. He is a good motivator.

“I am kindly urging the fans to come and support us in numbers so that we produce a favourable result. I know a number of them were disappointed with the performance of the national team in their last match against Namibia at the Cosafa tournament, but such is football.

“We must look ahead as a nation and our number one priority at the moment is to see Swaziland biting the dust. I am very confident of my coach and I know God will guide us,” said Mutasa.

Meanwhile, the Swazis are confident of coming out with a result before “finish off the job at home in two weeks.”
