Leading financial institution BancABC has thrown its full support behind its employee, Isaiah Mupfurutsa, who is contesting for the Premier Soccer League (PSL) chairmanship in the upcoming elections.
Mupfurutsa, the chairman of Simba Bhora, faces competition from three other candidates: FC Platinum chairman Dumisani Sisale, Leonard Musariri of Ngezi Platinum, and Masimba Chihohwa of Manica Diamonds.
The elections are scheduled for July 25 and will be conducted in strict accordance with the ZIFA electoral code.

Isaiah Mupfurutsa isn’t just a contender for the Premier Soccer League Chairmanship — he’s a visionary with the discipline, drive, and leadership we know well at BancABC Zimbabwe. We’re proud to stand behind one of our own as he steps up to shape the future of the beautiful game,” BancABC stated on its official Facebook page.
Bosso supremo Kennedy Mhlophe is the vice chairman-elect after being nominated unopposed.
The winner of the PSL chairmanship race will automatically become a member of the ZIFA executive committee.
