ZIFA Southern Region Division One side Bulawayo Chiefs have confirmed the signing of Godfrey Makaruse from Scottland FC on a permanent deal.

Makaruse, who was one of Scottland’s marquee signings at the beginning of the year, was left out of their final squad for the season.

The versatile midfielder has now made a return to Bulawayo, joining Chiefs as they push for a swift return to the Premier Soccer League.

The move marks a homecoming of sorts for Makaruse, whose experience and leadership will be a valuable asset to the Chiefs’ promotion campaign.
