CHICKEN INN 0-1 MWOS (Half-Time)
Premiership new boys MWOS are cooking the Gamecocks alive, and it’s all thanks to a Nigel Matinha rocket that’s left Luveve Stadium gasping!

The unbeaten PSL debutants are flying high at the break after Matinha unleashed a curling screamer in the 37th minute, turning Chicken Inn’s box into a war zone.
It was a move straight from the training ground — Billy Veremu and Malvern Mudzuka slicing through the midfield with silky passes before Matinha let rip from outside the box, leaving Donovan Bernard rooted like a tree in the Chicken Inn goal.

MWOS meant business from the first whistle. Veremu could’ve opened the scoring in the 28th minute but fluffed his lines with a scuffed shot. Just moments later, Chicken Inn’s Tinashe Mushaireni tried to turn the tide, but his long-range effort whizzed past the upright.
The hosts kept probing, with Michael Charamba laying it on a plate for Mushaireni on the edge of the box, but he was hacked down. The resulting free-kick hit a solid MWOS wall.

Mudzuka also had a crack from range, but Bernard wasn’t letting another one past — this time.
The second half promises fireworks as Chicken Inn chase an equaliser and MWOS aim to make a bold PSL statement.
