AS A MAN, you might have the cash, the handsome face, and the latest luxury wheels. But if you are weak between the sheets, your woman will run away!
Even if she stays, she will probably find a “side-dish” to satisfy her secret hunger.
To save their marriages and pride, Bulawayo men are now ditching the gym and heading to the streets.
They are desperate to up their game and become tigers in bed.
A snap survey by B-Metro has revealed that the city’s streets are flooded with sex enhancement pills and herbs. These products are selling like hot cakes, with both men and women turning to them to keep their bedrooms hot.
What used to be a “hush-hush” underground trade is now a booming business in broad daylight. From street corners to grocery shops, the “bedroom boosters” are everywhere.
Along 5th Avenue, between Herbert Chitepo and Fort Street, vendors are making a killing. Women dressed in white outfits openly approach male passers-by, whispering offers of magic concoctions.
Some residents say these street pills are the only thing keeping their homes together.
“They saved many homes,” said one man who didn’t want to be named. “These things help men perform better and give women real pleasure.”
Another resident, who only identified himself as Munya, added: “It would be cruel to take these away. People rely on them to keep the fire burning”
But while the bedroom is heating up, health experts are sweating. The Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) is sounding the alarm.
“The sale of such products on the streets is illegal and poses a serious risk to public health,” the MCAZ warned.
They revealed that although popular, those boosters are not registered. They could contain harmful chemicals that lead to heart failure or permanent damage to your “manhood.”
Medical doctor Trust Mushawarima said some of these “drinks” contain Sildenafil — a prescription drug for erectile dysfunction.
“Taking it without a doctor’s note is dangerous. You don’t know the dose,” warned Dr Mushawarima.
He said some men aren’t actually weak — they are just stressed or over-thinking.
“If you don’t fix the root cause in your head, the pill won’t save you,” he said.
Local herbalist Alton Hadzisi says the “weakness” epidemic is caused by bad diets and “social media pressure.”
“Junk food leads to high sugar and fat, which stops blood from flowing to the sexual organs,” Hadzisi explained.
He also said the tough economy is making men lose their “viva.”
“Mental stress kills the nerves. Men are also scared of being replaced by sex gadgets they see online,” he added.
While these pills promise to turn you into a beast in the bedroom, authorities say you might end up in a hospital bed instead.
Don’t gamble with your life just to impress a woman. If the engine isn’t revving, see a real doctor.UL
